Recording and AI settings

The Recording and AI settings can be configured per camera. It can be done in 2 ways:

1. By associating a Plan with a camera

2. By changing the recording and AI settings manually

Associating a Plan with a camera

It is described in the Plans and Subscriptions section.

The recording and AI parameters are pre-defined for a Plan.

Changing the recording and AI settings manually

If a “Custom plan” has been assigned to a camera then recording and AI settings UI becomes visible and the parameters can be configured manually:

There are 3 modes of recording:

• Off

• Continuous

• By-event

The retention time is in hours and it can be set per camera individually.

There 3 modes of AI:

• Off

• Continuous

• By-event

In the case of continuous AI, image recognition will be done periodically by a timer. In case of by-event AI, image recognition will be done based on motion events received from a camera.

Recommended parameters:

• Continuous recording with 720 hours of retention (30 days)

• By-event AI
