Dealers/Customers Table

The admin user is able to view all dealers, as well as customers of those dealers for the entire system. They can assign and revoke subscriptions (assigned plans), add new dealers and customers or edit basic information such as name or email, and give dealers permission to assign subscriptions to it’s customers. On the right section of the screen, it shows the total amount of cameras assigned to the system as well as the number of licenses.

At the admin level, subscriptions (plans) are assigned in pools to companies — first to Dealers, then from a dealer’s pool to Customers. Those customer plans are what operators later attach to individual cameras.

This guide covers assigning and adjusting plan quantities from the admin Dealers and Customers screens.

You set how many of each plan are Assigned. Used shows how many are already applied to cameras. When assigning to a customer, Available shows how many remain in the dealer’s pool.

There are two plan types, shown as tabs in the assign dialog:

  • Retention Plans — recording retention

  • AI Plans — AI-related plans and credits

Before you begin

  • Sign in as an admin (owner) or partner (dealer) with permission to manage companies and plans.

  • For dealer-to-customer assignment, the dealer must already have plans in their pool.

  • Optionally, owners can enable Allow to assign licenses to customers on a dealer so that dealer can assign plans to their customers. This appears when adding or editing a dealer, and as Assign Licences on the Dealers list.

Assign plans to a dealer (owner / admin)

  1. Open the Dealers page from the admin sidebar.

  2. Find the dealer in the list.

  3. Click the Subscriptions action (badge icon) for that row.

  4. In the Assign plans dialog, choose Retention Plans or AI Plans.

  5. For each plan, set the Assigned quantity.

  6. Review Used (already in use; read-only).

  7. Click Assign to save, or Cancel to discard.

A success message confirms that subscriptions were assigned. Lowering a quantity unassigns unused plans from the dealer’s pool; you cannot go below what is already Used.

Assign plans to a customer

You can do this as a dealer on your Customers page, or as an owner after opening a dealer’s customers.

From the dealer Customers page

  1. Open Customers from the admin sidebar.

  2. Find the customer in the list.

  3. Click the Subscriptions action for that row.

  4. In Assign plans, switch between Retention Plans and AI Plans as needed.

  5. Set Assigned for each plan you want the customer to have.

  6. Check Used and Available:

    • Used — already applied to cameras (you cannot assign less than this)

    • Available — remaining in the dealer’s pool (you cannot assign more than this)

  7. Click Assign.

From the owner side

  1. Open Dealers.

  2. Open the dealer’s customers (customers action for that dealer).

  3. Use the same Subscriptions action on the customer row and follow the steps above.

After plans are assigned

Assigned customer plans become available when someone configures a camera (for example on the camera Services step, or when choosing a subscription while adding a camera). Admin-level assignment only fills the company pool; it does not by itself attach a plan to a specific camera.

Tips

  • Assign retention plans to the customer pool before operators need them on cameras; AI plans follow the same pool pattern.

  • Increase Assigned to add more licenses; decrease it only down to the Used count.

  • If you cannot assign more to a customer, check the dealer’s pool first — they may need more plans from the owner.

  • Use clear plan quantities per dealer/customer so pools stay easy to audit from the Dealers and Customers lists.

Summary

  1. Owner → Dealer: Dealers list → Subscriptions → set Assigned on Retention / AI tabs → Assign.

  2. Dealer → Customer: Customers list → Subscriptions → set Assigned using Available as the limit → Assign.

  3. Operators then apply those customer plans to cameras in the customer app.

  4. Never set Assigned below Used; never exceed Available when assigning to a customer.
